Don’t get too comfortable, APC. That’s the message from elder statesman and former Ogun governor Olusegun Osoba — and he’s naming names.
According to Peoples Gazette, Osoba told APC members at the party’s presidential primary in Abeokuta that Peter Obi, Goodluck Jonathan and Seyi Makinde are quietly engineering a vote-splitting strategy in the South to derail President Tinubu’s 2027 re-election.
“Obi has emerged, Jonathan is quietly waiting in the background, and Makinde has been grandstanding,” Osoba warned.
His message to loyalists? Stop assuming Tinubu has no real opposition.
“The enemies are many,” he said bluntly. “Let us not be caught off guard.”
Consider this your wake-up call, APC.
