Ondo Speaker Faces Ultimatum
Twenty-one Ondo State lawmakers have issued Speaker Olamide Oladiji an ultimatum: resign over corruption allegations or face impeachment. The House Committee on Information Chairman, Olatunji Fabiyi, confirmed the notice to journalists in Akure. Fabiyi stated members accuse Oladiji of diverting N44 million from the OSOPADEC budget, allegedly collected for them but never distributed. An impeachment notice is signed; voluntary resignation is urged before removal at the next plenary.
