Bayelsa Officials Arrested in N500M Equipment Theft
Three Bayelsa civil servants are in custody for allegedly stealing government equipment worth N500 million from the Ministry of Labour. Police spokesperson Musa Mohammed confirmed the arrests following a petition after an inspection revealed missing assets, including a generator and forklift. The suspects have reportedly confessed, and investigations are ongoing.
