A petition submitted to Nigeria’s aviation minister alleges Peter Obi enabled a banned passenger to fly under different identities, a claim yet to be independently verified.
Peter Obi Faces Fresh Petition Over Alleged Aviation Security Breach
Peter Obi is facing a fresh petition alleging he helped a previously banned passenger — described as one of his media aides — continue flying under false identities. The petition, dated July 12 and addressed to Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo, with copies to the NCAA and EFCC, was submitted by someone identifying as a concerned aviation industry employee, according to The Cable.
It claims the passenger was barred by Air Peace over alleged misconduct but continued travelling under different names, allegedly with Obi’s assistance, and that airport staff were prevented from verifying her identity. The claims remain unverified and have not been confirmed by Obi or the named airline.
