The State Security Service has asked the Federal High Court to remand Omoyele Sowore after alleging he failed to meet his bail conditions, with the case adjourned to July 13.

SOWORE BAIL ROW

The State Security Service asked the Federal High Court in Abuja to remand AAC presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore over his alleged failure to fulfil bail conditions, the Peoples Gazette reports.

SSS lawyer Akinlolu Kehinde told the court Sowore had not deposited his passport, produced a traditional ruler as surety, or provided a landowner as a second surety. Defence lawyer Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika said the process was ongoing. Justice Mohammed Umar adjourned proceedings until July 13, pending review of steps taken.

Sowore’s bail was revoked after he missed his June 16 trial date; he faces charges over an alleged false claim against President Tinubu.
