2027 Polls: PDP, APC Start Gov Candidate Upload
Nigeria’s major parties, the PDP and APC, have begun uploading their governorship and state Houses of Assembly candidates to the INEC portal for the 2027 general elections. PDP National Organising Secretary Umar Bature confirmed their process started Saturday, expecting completion by the August 8 deadline. An anonymous APC official also stated their party is uploading candidates cleared by internal panels.
