Senate Orders AMCON Wind-Down Report
Nigeria’s Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance, and Other Financial Institutions has directed the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) to compile a detailed report on its operations. This directive comes as the corporation prepares for its scheduled wind-down in 2030. The report, mandated during the screening of Lamido Yuguda for AMCON chairman, must outline achievements and outstanding responsibilities for the National Assembly.
