Doctor Charged Over El-Rufai’s Fake Medical Report
Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, ICPC, has charged Bello Abubakar, an oncology consultant, with forging a medical report. He allegedly crafted a false statement to help former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai secure bail on health grounds. The four-count charge claims Abubakar knowingly misled officials to support El-Rufai’s bail application in a separate court case.
