A Kano Federal High Court has restricted the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) from operating on township roads within the state. The ruling followed a suit by lawyer Abba Hikima, who argued the FRSC unlawfully stopped, searched, and questioned motorists. Justice M.S. Shuaibu barred FRSC officers, ordering a public apology and N800,000 in damages.
