LG Autonomy Stalled
Despite N10.48 trillion allocated to local governments in two years, a Supreme Court order for direct payment remains largely unimplemented. An analysis of FAAC reports shows councils received N10.479 trillion between July 2024 and June 2026, yet states largely retain control, defying the autonomy judgment.
