PFIPC Scandal Suspect Adeyemi Writes Tinubu, Seeks Independent Probe
Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew, accused of falsely posing as Director-General of the PFIPC, has written an open letter to President Bola Tinubu demanding a broader, independent investigation into the alleged ₦1.3 billion budget scandal, according to SaharaReporters.
While commending Tinubu’s directive to the ICPC, Adeyemi argued the probe lacks impartiality and called for a panel including the NBA, Amnesty International, the World Bank, IMF and UN.
He also linked his safety concerns to the death of an alleged intermediary, Dolapo Babatunde Tanimola, questioning the official account of events.
Adeyemi faces separate criminal charges and is due to be arraigned Tuesday.
