WASHINGTON, D.C. — Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, joined 44 other first ladies from around the world at the White House on Wednesday for the “Fostering the Future Together Summit,” hosted by her U.S. counterpart, Melania Trump. The event focused on expanding access to educational tools and protecting children in digital environments. Melania Trump introduced an American-made humanoid system, Figure 3, marking the first time such technology was formally presented to international leaders in a diplomatic setting at the White House.
“The future of AI is personified – it will be formed in the shape of humans. Very soon artificial intelligence will move from our mobile phones to humanoids that deliver utility,” the U.S. first lady said. “This technology may reset the modern world order and rebalance power. Your children must be prepared to ascend within this framework. Our coalition can make this vision real by supporting concrete initiatives that equip young people with the skills they need – invest, expand access, and foster new opportunity.” Officials from nine countries, including France, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, and Morocco, presented national strategies for integrating technology into education systems.
