Troops of the Nigerian Army’s 8 Division, supported by local vigilantes, have neutralised notorious bandit kingpin Kachalla Kallamu in Sokoto State. Kallamu, a close associate of Bello Turji, was eliminated along with a logistics supplier in Sabon Birnin LGA.
This action is part of broader successes where 13 suspected bandits were killed and weapons recovered in Tarah and Karawa. Officials and residents commended the army’s professionalism and ongoing efforts to secure communities from attacks.
