Kwankwaso’s son resigns from NNPP, moves to ADC

Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso has resigned from the NNPP and announced plans to join the ADC, calling it a new chapter in his political journey.

Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, son of former Kano State governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has resigned from the New Nigeria People’s Party. Mustapha, who serves as Secretary of the Kwankwasiyya movement, announced the decision in a statement shared on his Facebook page on Monday.

In the statement, he said, “I want to inform general public that as of today, I have officially resigned my membership from the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP.” He added that the decision followed careful consideration and marked a turning point in his political career.

Mustapha also disclosed that he is in the process of joining the African Democratic Congress. “I am currently in the process of joining the African Democratic Congress, ADC, and I am excited about this new chapter in my political journey,” he said, adding that he believes the party offers a platform for “good governance, economic prosperity, and improved well-being for all.”
