The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited and several filling stations have reduced the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit, with NNPCL outlets in Abuja adjusting from N920 to N915 per litre. DAILY POST observed that MRS and BOVAS also cut their prices to N910 per litre from about N945. Other stations including AYM Shafa, NIPCO, Optima, Mobil, Ranoil, and Empire now sell petrol between N920 and N937 per litre.
The latest reductions follow changes in ex-depot prices, with Dangote Refinery supplying at N824.50 per litre, Eterna at N823, Aiteo at N823, and BOVAS at N822. DAILY POST reports this is the third adjustment in recent days, noting that NNPCL has reduced its pump price twice in two weeks, amounting to a total drop of N30 from N945 per litre.
