The Federal Government has launched a national policy to combat drug abuse in schools. Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, emphasized implementation over policy development and highlighted new policies for teachers and addressing drug abuse.
The policy includes counseling and behavioral support, with plans to revise curricula and establish a prevention unit. Awareness campaigns and drug-integrity testing are also part of the initiative to protect youth.
