The APC has disqualified Engr. Kayode Ojo from contesting in the Ekiti governorship primary set for October 27.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has disqualified a governorship aspirant in Ekiti State, Engr. Kayode Ojo, from participating in the party’s primary election and the forthcoming gubernatorial race.
Ojo, who visited the party’s secretariat in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday, received no reception from party executives. He had earlier mobilised thousands of supporters across the 16 local government areas, shutting down Ado-Ekiti ahead of the polls.
According to a report by TVC News, Ojo was officially disqualified from the race, though the reasons for his exclusion were not disclosed.
