Former Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Faruk Yahaya, has strongly denied allegations linking him to terrorism financing. He described the claims, made by Maj.-Gen. Danjuma Ali-Keffi (rtd), as false and malicious.
Yahaya attributed Ali-Keffi’s accusations to a personal vendetta arising from past disciplinary actions. He demanded a retraction from Ali-Keffi and Sahara Reporters, threatening legal action to protect his reputation.
