World Athletics has awarded the Premium Trust Bank Abuja City International Half Marathon a bronze label status, a notable achievement for the event in its second edition. This recognition reflects the race’s growing stature and successful organization since its 2024 debut.
Nilayo Sports Management, led by Yetunde Olopade, reaffirmed its commitment to global standards. The technical committee head, Yusuf Ali, noted that 30 elite athletes from Kenya, Ethiopia, and Nigeria will compete, with the winner earning $8,000.
