A Nigerian cancer patient, Kemisola Mustapha, has publicly appealed for a second wife for her husband through social media. The mother of three explained in a TikTok video that her illness, diagnosed in 2024, has prevented her from fulfilling marital duties, particularly sexual intimacy. She has been searching for a suitable co-wife for over nine months.
Mustapha described her husband as supportive, noting he sold nearly all his properties to fund her cancer treatment. “My husband is a very good man. He has really tried for me, and I don’t want to be a selfish soul. I am looking for a second wife for my husband. He has tried for me physically, financially, and emotionally,” she said. She emphasized wanting someone understanding, faithful, and loving toward her family.
The trader initially paused her search after warnings that a new wife might plot her death but has resumed with renewed conviction. “Now, I am not dying. I am not giving up anytime soon. I am not making this request because I have been told that I will die,” Mustapha said. Her husband initially rejected the idea but later agreed, and they formalized the decision through legal documentation.
