FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has re-awarded the 13km Apo–Karshi Road contract to S.C.C. Nigeria Limited, terminating the original agreement with Kakatar Engineering Limited due to fourteen years of delays, and also awarded a new Kubwa-Bwari road project to S.C.C. to improve infrastructure.
