Nyesom Wike has warned that organisers of a Renewed Hope rally will forcefully use the Yakubu Gowon Stadium if the Rivers State Government again denies approval.
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has challenged the Rivers State Government over the denial of approval to use the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt, for a Renewed Hope Family rally, warning that organisers would forcefully access the facility if approval is again withheld.
“We applied to the state government for the use of the Yakubu Gowon Stadium. They refused us… next time they do this, if you don’t approve it, we will break in by force,” Wike said, adding, “Nobody can deny us the use of state facilities… Heaven will not fall.”
