In response to a deadly terror attack that killed a National Guard soldier, President Donald Trump has announced a sweeping crackdown on migration, vowing to “permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries” and initiate a green card audit for citizens of 19 specified nations.

Trump earlier demanded every green card issued to immigrants from 19 ‘countries of concern’ face an urgent reexamination.

The countries are: Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela.

In a lengthy Truth Social post, Trump blamed the Biden administration for the attack and outlined drastic measures, including ending federal benefits for noncitizens and deporting anyone deemed a security risk or “non-compatible with Western Civilization,” stating that “Only REVERSE MIGRATION can fully cure this situation.”
