Tinubu receives letters from 17 ambassadors, 4 high commissioners

President Bola Tinubu welcomed 17 ambassadors and four high commissioners in Abuja, receiving their Letters of Credence. He affirmed Nigeria’s commitment to promoting peace and strengthening international partnerships. Tinubu urged diplomats to engage with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stating, “Nigeria values longstanding friendship and strategic partnership across all regions of the world.”

Japan’s Ambassador, Suzuki Hideo, speaking for the diplomats, acknowledged Nigeria’s key role in ECOWAS and Africa. He commended President Tinubu’s “visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to economic transformation,” highlighting reforms aimed at strengthening the fiscal framework and national security initiatives. The event marked a new chapter in bilateral relations.
