Popular entertainer Speed Darlington is under investigation after a viral Instagram Live video appeared to show him admitting to defiling a 15-year-old girl.

Speaking in Igbo, he recounted an encounter at a hotel, claiming the girl was a virgin and that blood stained the sheets. โBefore they could come change the sheets for me, I had to give N2,000… I can never work for anybody, lai lai. I only work for myself,โ he said.
The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) described the video as โdisturbingโ and confirmed it had escalated the matter to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), since the incidentโs location wasnโt specified.
NAPTIP responded, โThis is not a skit right?โ to which DSVA replied, โWe are in this together o!โ
Both agencies urged the public to assist investigations. Darlington has previously sparked controversy over alleged interactions with minors.
