South Africa’s ex-president Zuma mentioned in Epstein emails over London dinner plan

Emails in the Epstein files mention a 2010 London dinner involving Jacob Zuma, which his foundation says does not indicate any wrongdoing.

Former South African President Jacob Zuma has been mentioned in newly released Epstein files after emails referenced a dinner allegedly arranged by Jeffrey Epstein during Zuma’s 2010 state visit to the UK. The correspondence discussed a Ritz Hotel dinner in London, reportedly attended by a Russian model. Being named does not imply wrongdoing.

The Jacob Zuma Foundation rejected suggestions of impropriety, calling the reports “agenda-driven journalism built on innuendo” and “guilt by association,” adding that there was no “unlawful or improper conduct” by Zuma. Epstein, a convicted sex offender, died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial.
