Public commentator Mahdi Shehu criticized the Federal Government after the late Senator Adamu Talba was named on President Bola Tinubu’s ambassadorial list. Shehu called the error a scandalous and avoidable blunder.
He argued the mistake revealed institutional failures and a rushed vetting process by government agencies. Shehu mockingly suggested the blunder was unique enough for the Guinness Record Book to register.
