Police arrest two over motorcycle rider’s death in Bauchi

The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of a motorcycle rider, Dauda Manu, whose body was discovered with multiple injuries near Dosho Village in Darazo Local Government Area.

Their arrest was disclosed in a statement released on Monday by the Spokesman of the Command, CSP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil.

He said that the incident was reported to the Darazo Divisional Police Headquarters on March 5, 2025.

According to the police, a team of detectives led by the Divisional Police Officer visited the scene and evacuated the unidentified body to the General Hospital Darazo, where a medical doctor confirmed the victim dead.

Following an extensive investigation, the deceased was later identified as 25-year-old Dauda Manu, a resident of Unguwar Buba Fulata Lanzai, Darazo LGA.

Investigation by the Police revealed that he was last seen alive on March 4, 2025, riding his Boxer motorcycle with two unidentified passengers.
