Peter Obi says he is taking a brief medical rest following his doctor’s advice after feeling unwell in Enugu on Friday.
Former Anambra State governor and Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, has announced a short medical break, suspending all engagements within and outside Nigeria this weekend.
In a post on X Saturday, Obi said he fell ill while attending a tourism event in Enugu and was advised by his doctor to rest.
“Earlier in Enugu, I was not feeling well. I visited the hospital where the doctor gave me some medication and advised me to take a day or two days rest,” Obi wrote.
Despite the setback, he disclosed that he visited Good Hope Specialist Hospital in Anambra, donating ₦10 million to support its conversion into a health complex with a School of Nursing.
