Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has strongly criticized Nigeria’s political leaders, including President Tinubu and state governors, for the escalating insecurity across the country. He attributed the wave of killings and abductions to ‘collective leadership failures’ that have allowed lawlessness and institutional decay to thrive.
Obi urged the government to prioritize the safety and well-being of its citizens over political interests, stating that the current chaos is a direct consequence of leaders not valuing human life.
