A Lagos-based relationship coach and head of David Christian Centre, Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, has defended a Bible-inspired tattoo on his arm, describing it as evangelism. The tattoo, bearing John 3:16 in Roman numerals, was unveiled in a video shared on Instagram to mark his 50th birthday.
Responding to criticism, Okonkwo wrote, “My religious brothers and sisters were busy judging over tattoo; they didn’t notice that the gospel (John 3:16) was preached to millions in 24hrs.” While reactions online were mixed, he urged calm, adding, “Those who want to hear about tattoos, drink water and relax.”
