The Oyo State Fire Service successfully recovered the body of a 65-year-old man from a deep well in Ibadan on Thursday, December 4, 2025. The incident, reported by Mr. Damola, occurred at Oke-Oga Atipe, Idi-Aga, and was handled by a team led by ACFS Bamidele Samsudeen, then handed to Agugu Police Division.
Moroof Akinwande, Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Fire Reform, confirmed the recovery and advised the public to avoid depression and observe safety precautions. This follows a similar well incident in Iseyin in November 2025, where a 45-year-old man’s body was found.
