Nancy Mace presents nude image of herself at House hearing

“This naked silhouette is my naked body,” Mace said, stating the image was taken from a video Bryant recorded secretly. “I didn’t know that I had been filmed. I didn’t give my consent.”

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) on Tuesday presented a nude image of herself during a House Oversight Subcommittee hearing, alleging it was taken without her consent by her former fiancé, Patrick Bryant.

“This naked silhouette is my naked body,” Mace said, stating the image was taken from a video Bryant recorded secretly. “I didn’t know that I had been filmed. I didn’t give my consent.”

The hearing focused on surveillance in private spaces. Mace used the platform to repeat previous accusations of sexual abuse and non-consensual filming against Bryant and three other men. She had first raised the allegations in February, during a House floor speech, labeling the men “predators.”

In response, Bryant denied the claims, calling them “false and outrageous.” He said, “I have never raped anyone… These accusations are malicious and deeply personal.”

One of the accused, Brian Musgrave, filed a defamation lawsuit in March. Mace also filed suit against Eric Bowman. Authorities confirmed Bryant is under investigation, though no further details have been released.
