VIDEO: “My twin babies died after taking immunisation”: Lagos resident accuses govt clinic of fake drugs, demands justice

A 30-year-old Lagos resident has accused a state-owned primary healthcare facility of causing the deaths of his nine-month-old twin boys following a routine immunisation exercise, alleging that the children were given fake, expired or inappropriate drugs. The grieving father made the allegation in an emotional video that went viral on X, saying the incident occurred at Ajangbadi Primary Health Centre in Ojo Local Government Area on December 24, 2025, when he and his wife took the twins for immunisation. โ€œMy wife and I took our twin boys for immunisation at Ajangbadi Primary Health Centre on December 24,โ€ he said, adding that shortly after the injections, โ€œthey became extremely weak and developed very high temperatures.โ€

According to him, the nurse advised the parents to administer paracetamol if the fever worsened, but the childrenโ€™s condition deteriorated rapidly and both died in the early hours of December 25. โ€œOn the morning of the 25th of December, they died. The two of them died at the same time,โ€ he said, insisting the twins were healthy before the immunisation and alleging that additional oral medication was given without his consent. He further expressed fear that an autopsy already conducted might be manipulated, saying, โ€œThis is government to government,โ€ and appealed to human rights lawyers for help, directly accusing authorities: โ€œThe Lagos State Government, the Lagos State Primary Health Centre, killed my two children with fake injections and fake vaccines.โ€ As of the time of filing this report, Lagos State health authorities had not publicly responded to the allegations.
