Her lawyer says “Our client’s rights were violated by having her picture taken without her hijab.”
“During the stop, she admitted to having a taser, but when officers searched her car, she actually had a stun gun, which is illegal in Michigan. She was arrested and taken to the Ferndale Police Department.”
She says she’s “Traumatized and feeling numb and detached.”
