Works Minister David Umahi has submitted all ongoing and completed federal road projects under President Bola Tinubu’s administration to the ICPC and EFCC for investigation. Speaking during an inspection of the Mararaba-Keffi road project, he said the move ensures transparency and accountability. “I love challenges. Let me tell the public that I wrote to ICPC, and we submitted all the president’s projects in the Ministry of Works from the day he assumed office,” he said.
Addressing concerns about unpaid contractors, Umahi assured that a presidential committee is reviewing all outstanding debts. “Please, no more protests. You will be paid before December 20,” he said. He confirmed that funds for contractors on the Keffi–Mararaba corridor have been approved and praised companies such as CGC and JRB for their performance, noting that local contractors have delivered high-quality work alongside international firms.
