Manchester United have entered talks with Nicolas Jackson’s agent, Ali Barat, as the club seeks to bolster its attack for manager Ruben Amorim. After sealing a £62.5m deal for Matheus Cunha and nearing a £70m move for Bryan Mbeumo, United are also attempting to hijack Viktor Gyokeres’ transfer to Arsenal with a £60–69m offer. Amorim wants competition for Rasmus Hojlund, who scored only 10 goals in 52 appearances last season.
Chelsea striker Jackson faces uncertainty after the arrivals of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro. Though Chelsea are reluctant to sell, they have valued Jackson at £100m. The 24-year-old, signed from Villarreal in 2023, has 30 goals and 12 assists in 81 appearances but has struggled with consistency and recent disciplinary issues.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have shown interest in United’s Alejandro Garnacho. The Argentine, part of the club’s ‘bomb squad,’ was valued at £70m. “He would be sold if the right offer came along,” reports Football London.
