Ronald Beaini, a Lebanese national and owner of several Donald Trump-themed burger restaurants in Texas, faces possible deportation after overstaying his visa, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said.
According to KHOU in Houston, Beaini entered the U.S. legally in 2019 but was required to leave in 2024. ICE said he was arrested on May 16 and has been in immigration proceedings since then.
Beaini’s Trump Burger locations in the Houston area feature politically themed menu items, including the 8-ounce “Trump Burger” described as “a burger so great, so tremendous, it should have its own skyscraper!” For bigger appetites, the “Trump Tower” offers a 16-ounce patty with “double yellow cheese AND double white cheese,” fresh toppings, and the restaurant’s signature Trump Sauce, served on a brioche bun. The menu also includes items named after First Lady Melania Trump and a kids’ menu honoring Barron Trump.
ICE said in a statement it enforces immigration laws “regardless of what restaurant you own or political beliefs you might have.”
