The Janaza (funeral) prayer service for Sina Ghami and Abdul Latif Kevin Ayodele, close friends and team members of boxing star Anthony Joshua, will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026, in London.
The bodies of Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele were repatriated to the United Kingdom following a fatal road crash in Nigeria, with the funeral prayers scheduled to commence at 10am at the London Central Mosque, located at 146 Park Road, London NW8 7RG.
Announcing the funeral arrangements in a statement on Saturday, Boxing King Media said: “Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones.”
Ghami and Ayodele died on December 29, 2025, in a crash along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in the Makun area of Ogun State, when the Lexus SUV conveying Joshua collided with a stationary truck. Joshua, who was also involved in the accident, sustained minor injuries, while the deaths of his strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer have continued to draw tributes from the boxing community and beyond.
