Lagos police confirm TikTok influencer Peller is safe after reports of his abduction during a livestream.
The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that popular TikTok personality Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, is safe following reports of his alleged abduction.
Naija News gathered that the 20-year-old claimed in a viral video that he was kidnapped by gunmen while livestreaming on Wednesday evening, though he initially mistook them for security officials.
Police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin said investigations are ongoing to determine if it was an actual kidnapping or a misunderstanding.
“We can confirm that Habeeb, popularly known as Peller, is at home safe and sound. His vehicle is intact, and all his phones and properties were not missing. There was no violence whatsoever,” Hundeyin told Channels TV.
