INEC Chairman Professor Joash Amupitan has called on the INEC Staff Multi-Purpose Co-operative Society’s leadership to manage members’ funds with transparency and fairness. Speaking at the 19th AGM in Abuja, Amupitan emphasized that co-operative funds are a “sacred trust” requiring electoral discipline.
Amupitan warned against corruption, stating, “Co-operative money belongs to the members. The Exco is merely a trustee.” The Co-operative Society President, Mr. Nenrot Gana, reported achievements including quick loan disbursements and strengthened trust despite inflation challenges.
