Police in Rivers State have confirmed that a househelp stabbed her boss’ seven-year-old daughter to death before taking her own life in Port Harcourt.
Police in Rivers State have confirmed a tragic incident in Port Harcourt where a househelp identified as Success allegedly stabbed seven-year-old Alicia Olajumoke to death before inflicting a fatal stab wound on herself. The child’s mother, Glory Joseph, reported that the househelp picked the girl up from school, took her home, and killed her.
According to the police spokesperson, Grace Iringe-Koko, “On 25th November 2025, one Glory Joseph… reported at the station that her daughter… was stabbed to death… by one Success…” She added that both the victim and the suspect were rushed to the hospital and confirmed dead. The case has been transferred to the SCID as investigations continue.
