Isaac Oyedepo, founder of the Isaac Oyedepo Evangelistic Ministries, has announced that his ministry will begin Sunday services in Abuja without collecting offerings, citing what he described as a specific instruction from God. In a video accompanying the message, Oyedepo said the decision aligns with the core mandate of his ministry, which he said is centred on discipleship and spiritual formation rather than the financial structures commonly associated with church services. He stated that while collecting offerings is not wrong, it is not part of the assignment given to him, adding that the ministry’s focus must remain on helping people grow in their Christian faith.
