The Court of Appeal sitting in Akure, Ondo State, on Thursday upheld the election of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the winner of the November 16, 2024, governorship election.

The three-member panel, led by Justice Yargata Nimpar, unanimously ruled in favour of Aiyedatiwa, dismissing the appeal filed by his rival, Agboola Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party. The ruling affirmed the earlier decision of the Ondo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.


FG Approves Promotion Of 100 Senior FRSC Officers

The Federal Government has approved the promotion of 51 Corps Commanders and 49 Deputy Corps Commanders in the Federal Road Safety Corps.
