The Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has proposed a budget of N861bn for the 2026 fiscal year.
Presenting the appropriation bill before the state House of Assembly on Thursday, the governor said N715bn was earmarked for capital expenditure, representing 83 per cent of the budget.
