Defence Minister Christopher Musa has signaled his intention to formally join the APC while pledging unwavering support for President Tinubu’s administration and second-term ambitions.
Minister of Defence General Christopher Musa (retd.) has indicated he may formally join the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing his current political status as “in transition.” Speaking on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, the former Chief of Defence Staff expressed a strong likelihood of joining the ruling party. He noted, “Not yet, but I think I’ll be. Definitely.”
Musa also affirmed total loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pledging his full support for the administration’s success and future electoral goals. “Mr President needs all support, totally. I’ll give him all my support,” he stated. His comments follow a string of high-profile defections to the APC, including Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas, bringing the party’s governorship count to 30.
