Fuel price hike looms as petrol import costs outstrip retail rates

 Regional disparities persist, with Lagos depots selling at ₦840-₦889 per litre while South-South stations charge up to ₦875 due to logistics. Dangote maintained ₦840 rates, but independent marketers like Pinnacle and Sahara priced at ₦889, reflecting the strain of import costs that have climbed steadily from ₦859 in late April.
