Governor Siminalayi Fubara stated that President Bola Tinubu’s special favour enabled his continuation in office after a six-month emergency rule in Rivers State. He reaffirmed his commitment to fully funding Rivers State University (RSU).
Fubara spoke at the university’s combined 37th and 38th convocation, pledging to address infrastructural gaps and improve staff and student welfare. He also committed to accelerating attention for satellite campuses in 2026.
