AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori stated he was never invited to play for Nigeria’s Super Eagles, despite being eligible. The 27-year-old, who represents England, has Nigerian parents and previously played for the Canadian youth team before switching to England’s U-19s.
Speaking on the Filthy Fellas Podcast, Tomori said, “they never called me, so I never had a choice to make.” He added that prominent Nigerian players like Ola Aina, Mola Lookman, and Alex Iwobi are among his acquaintances.
