The Presidential Committee on Flood Relief and Rehabilitation officially handed over a completed internally displaced persons (IDP) facility to the Abia government. PCFRR representative Onimode Haruna transferred keys and documents to Sunday Jackson of the Abia State Emergency Management Agency.
Located in Mgbarakuma-Ubakala, Umuahia South LGA, the facility provides shelter for flood victims. Officials urged proper utilization and maintenance, with the Abia government assuring its commitment to the project’s intended purpose.
